FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT (FERPA)

The program complies with the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 1974, as amended. This law maintains that the program will provide for the confidentiality of student education records. Identifiable information from a student’s educational record will only be accessible to program faculty, staff, and other LMU employees with a legitimate educational need for the information. Student grades are recorded, stored, and secured with the LMU Registrar. All other student educational records are maintained by the program.
